How TuTu inspire your Picky-Eater

Ok, here's the deal.  I have a three year old who is a PICKY eater.  I've started making her lunches fun and creative.  She's loving the creativity.  Even better: she's eating.  I've been posting pictures on my facebook page.  My friends are getting a laugh and maybe some inspiration or hope for their picky-eaters.  I'm not promising a daily post.  But, here's my first three pictures: JUST for FUN and FOOD.

Deli Meat Face
String Cheese Hair
Grape barrettes
Raisin Eyes
Cracker mouth

String Cheese/Deli Meat Car rolled together
Slice of Cheese for body
Wagon Wheels (I would prefer to use a fruit, but didn't have any)
Baked Cheetos

Chicken Salad rolled into a tortilla, cut into spirals
Grape Heads
Slice of Cheese Hair
Baked Cheeto feet and hands

Enjoy!

Recycle Your Wipes Cases

www.greenthumbphotography.com
I love my custom made wipes cases ordered from a friend's facebook page: Shell-Bows   What do you do with your cute cases or even plain cases when you're baby is potty-trained?  They make the perfect travel and storage cases for their markers!  It's much better than the flimsy plastic cases they come in!

HOWTU- Be Real

I ran across an interesting website called "The Naked Face Project" while reading this article , a Petition to Stop Airbrushing, on SHINE.  I decided to use my photoshop skills and photoshop one of the Naked Face Project founders, Molly.  It's just an example of how UNREALISTIC the social media we see is.  Molly is a perfect example of HOWTU - BE REAL!

How TuTu - Headband Organizer

"Necessity is the mother of invention!"  I bought an Oatmeal container with every intention of decorating it with one of the many DIY blogs!  However, that has yet to happen.  My expiration date on the oatmeal is almost due!  Lucky for me, I found this to fit my drawer and VOILA!

How TuTu - Twisted Rosette Bow

You can do one rosette or make a collage of several. Use all different types of ribbon, material or tulle. Bedazzle the rosettes with pearls or diamonds or add feathers! Once again this just a formula. BE CREATIVE!
Begin by folding and gluing or tying a knot.
.

Twist the ribbon and the felt simultaneously.... at the same time. lol

How TuTu - Boutique Bow

This is just a basic formula for a boutique-style bow. You can google the phrase "Boutique Bow" and look at the images. You can get lots of ideas and variations.

Ribbon #1: Formula for any size boutique bow

Make sure your loops are even before pinning.
I put a pin in the center so I can fluff my loops without moving the center point.

Begin sewing from the bottom up

Pull the slack while bunching up your bow

Wrap your thread around the entire bow: at least twice

Measure Ribbon #2 with the size of the bow: Make a little bigger

Gather your bow (as shown above) and wrap your thread around: at least twice before knotting.

Ribbon #5

Measure Ribbon #6 with Ribbon #5.

Ribbon #7: Use Ribbon #1 formula and make a small boutique bow
